Valithria Dreamwalker Rescued!

June 21, 2010

Moving through the armies of the Lich King which littered the halls of the citadel, We are Mighty found themselves in the presence of an unexpected creature, a green dragonflight. The servant of Ysera was known as Valithria Dreamwalker and her life appeared to be fading fast as the fiendish mages that surrounded her had been draining her power.

We are Mighty had no desire to learn the reasons behind this dark magic and charged the undead minions, making quick work of them. As the adventurers attempted to aid the emerald dragon, the gates within the corners of the room swung open and unleashed the undead armies of the Lich King.

Waves upon waves of abominations, geists, mages and other creatures flooded into the room, swarming the brave warriors. We are Mighty stood their ground and showed no mercy to the horrid creatures using their steel to cleave the undead’s rotting flesh. As the fight intensified Valithria called for aid from the warriors by opening a portal to the Emerald Dream. From there We are Mighty were able to renew the dragon’s vitality and bring her back to full strength.

Upon her re-vitalization Valithria demonstrated a dragon’s true power by easily laying waste to the remaining undead forces and causing them to fully retreat. With the green dragon rescued from the clutches of the Lich King, We are Mighty pressed forward only to find themselves in the presence of an even greater dragon…

Blood-Queen Lana’thel Downed!

June 8, 2010

Moving up through the spiraling Crimson Halls eventually led We are Mighty to the leader of the San’layn, Blood-Queen Lana’thel. Like the other Darkfallen, Lana’thel was once a great blood elf warrior prior to being turned into a servant of the Lich King.

Following the third war, the blood elves began to rebuild their homeland which was devastated by the Lich King and his armies. Among the blood elves who survived was Lana’thel who had joined in sifting through the rubble of their once great civilization. It was during this that Lana’thel stumbled across the legendary blade, Quel’Delar. The blade had been forged by the night elves along with the dragon aspects and given to the quel’dorei long ago and passed down by generations until Thalorien Dawnseeker was defeated by the Lich King.

As Illidan marched against the Lich King, Lana’thel took up the blade to use against Arthas and claim vengeance for all he had done. Like the rest of the elven forces, Lana’thel eventually succumbed to the Lich King’s power and served as the leader of the San’layn. The once mighty blade which gave her so much hope now filled her with memories and confusion, tormenting her greatly. She eventually shattered the blade and fully served the Lich King without hesitation.

We are Mighty struck with extreme force to bring down the Blood Queen. She responded by attempting to turn the mighty warriors into her very own servants. As the fight continued and We are Mighty faced increasingly difficult obstacles they gathered their composure and showed their stamina by withstanding her mind control infection. With great power they destroyed the Blood Queen and with her, the end of the San’layn.

Blood Prince Council Downed!

June 3, 2010

Moving through the corridors of the citadel led the party to an area known as the Crimson Halls. These impressive halls were of great importance as they were home to none other than the faction of undead blood elves known as The San’layn.

These once great and powerful blood elves joined forces with Illidan Stormrage after the third war with promises of a new source of magic after the destruction of their Sunwell. They traveled with Illidan to Northrend to aid in destroying the Lich King, but having failed in the task, Illidan fled to Outland with a large group of blood elves. The remaining elves that had fell in battle, or had been left behind to be slaughtered by the scourge became risen as undead servants of the Lich King, known the Darkfallen; The San’layn.

Now serving as agents, leaders and ambassadors of the scourge, the Darkfallen reside within Icecrown Citadel. Among them are three blood elf princes, Keleseth, Valanar, and Taldaram which make up the Blood Prince Council. All once found throughout Northrend, they returned to the Crimson Hall by the call of their master. The San’layn proved to be no match for the strength of We are Mighty as they put to rest the tormented souls of the once noble elves.

Professor Putricide Downed!

June 1, 2010

Continuing their fight through the rotting stench of the Plaugeworks, We are Mighty eventually found themselves in the presence of an undead mad scientist known as Professor Putricide. As the creator of both Festergut and Rotface, the adventurers knew that the threat posed by the madman should not be taken lightly.

With his focus set on his alchemist lab, the professor worked closely on his newest creation, a plague that would destroy all of Azeroth. We are Mighty struck quickly to put down Putricide, but were distracted by the professor’s alchemist trickery. As the battle continued the floor became quickly overrun by slime pools and the room filled with choking gases in a last attempt to destroy the heroic adventurers.

We are Mighty stood their ground and mustered the strength to stop the mad scientist, and by doing so, save all of Azeroth from a deadly plague. With the Plaugeworks cleared, the forces marched deeper into the citadel.

Rotface Downed!

May 31, 2010

After their quick defeat of Festergut, the forces of We are Mighty continued through the halls of the Plaugeworks and found themselves in a room that seemed to mimic the last. At the center stood Festergut once again, the adventurers were shocked at such sorcery.

Although similar in appearance, most likely due to a lazy abomination scientist who didn’t want to have to create two separate unique creatures, We are Mighty realized that is was in fact a different mutilated creature known as Rotface.

Regardless of the difference in tactics this new enemy posed, We are Mighty were quick on their toes and worked together to bring down the monster.

Festergut Downed!

May 28, 2010

Continuing deeper into the upper spire of the citadel, We are Mighty stumbled into the horrid section known as the Plagueworks. The area was filled with several types of abominations, stitched together in some sort of mad science project.

Fighting through one of the halls led the adventurers to a large room filled with several various types of liquid tanks and pipes. At the center stood a hulking abomination, far worse than they had every encountered. We are Mighty felt no pity for the mutilated creature as they ripped through him and continued on their path to the Lich King.

Deathbringer Saurfang Downed!

May 26, 2010

Attempting to enter the upper spire of the citadel, the forces of We are Mighty were greeted by the Lich King’s most powerful death knight, Deathbringer Saurfang. The once proud orc of the Horde who fell in battle against the Lich King at the Wrathgate, had his soul ripped out by Frostmourne and now obeyed it’s wielder.

We are Mighty made quick work of the death knight, and finally put the tortured soul to rest. As they began to enter the citadel once again, the adventurers were quickly put back on the defensive as the Horde flying gunship, Ogrim’s Hammer returned. Expecting the worst, they readied their steel for another attack.

The Horde commander, Overlord Saurfang jumped towards the alliance forces, but Muradin Bronzebeard stepped in his way to stop his advance. The overlord claimed that nothing would stand in the way of him getting to the body of his son. Before more blood had been spilled, Varian Wyrnn, the King of Stormwind, stepped through a portal accompanied by Jaina Proudmoore, and ordered to let the grieving father pass.

The high overlord, Varok Saurfang was given the opportunity to retrieve his only childs body from the frozen citadel. Dranosh Saurfang, once great warrior of the horde, leader of the Warsong Offensive, may he always be remembered as a great and powerful orc; and may he finally rest in peace in Nagrand, next to the pyres of his mother, and great ancestors.

Gunship Battle Downed! …?

May 25, 2010

Working their way up the ramparts of Icecrown Citadel, We are Mighty joined forces with the alliance expedition in slaying members of the horde who stood in their way to victory. Successfully wiping away such simple scum the heroic forces boarded the awaiting Skybreaker, a great Alliance flying gunship that would take them to the upper spire of the citadel.

While enjoying the slow pace for a change, the adventurers were quickly brought to attention by the commanding officer of the Skybreaker, Muradin Bronzebeard. “By me own beard! HORDE SAILIN’ IN FAST ‘N HOT!”, echoed the deep voice of the once lost younger brother of the King of Ironforge; He quickly gave the orders, “EVASIVE ACTION! MAN THE GUNS!”.

Without hesitation the crew along with the forces of We are Mighty sprung into action. Taking hold of the turrets aboard the ship, the onslaught of cannonballs began to rain down upon Orgrim’s Hammer. The Horde’s goblin ship was of equal size and scale, but was clearly no match for the skill aboard the Skybreaker.

Attempting to give themselves an upper hand in the battle, the Horde commander, High Overlord Saurfang, ordered a battle mage to cast a powerful spell that would turn the Skybreaker’s cannons into ice. We are Mighty responded to such an order by sending their very own assault team which quickly destroyed the mage, while keeping the Overloard distracted.

Even with the enemy attempting to invade the Skybreaker, they could not compete with warriors who could act so fast and skillfully under pressure. Orgrim’s Hammer had been left a fiery wreck and withdrew from battle. The forces of We are Mighty stepped back onto the solid ground of the citadel, and eagerly awaited the Lich King’s next attempt at their lives.

Lady Deathwhisper Downed!

May 21, 2010

Progressing through the halls of Icecrown Citadel, We are Mighty stumbled across a large gathering of the Cult of the Damned. The various cult members had been in a sort of prayer, idolizing their leader, Lady Deathwhisper. Without hesitation the onslaught began as We are Mighty cut down the treacherous individuals in front of their beloved matriarch.

As the last body fell lifeless to the ground, We are Mighty leapt forth to strike down Lady Deathwhisper. She quickly went on the defensive and surrounded herself in an extremely powerful magical shield. Calling forth reinforcements, she had hoped to catch We are Mighty off guard, but underestimated the power and coordination of such skilled adventurers.

With the reinforcements destroyed, We are Mighty were able to pop her bubble, and silence the lich once and for all.

Lord Marrowgar Downed!

May 19, 2010

With the Icecrown Citadel breached by the Argent Crusade, the brave forces of We Are Mighty stepped forth into the frozen fortress, ready to brave any challenge that awaited them. The first of such challenges came in the form of a horrifying being known as Lord Marrowgar.

It is said the skeletal fiend was composed of the remains of thousands of slain adventurers and acted as the guardian to the citadel. We Are Mighty would not be added to his collection of remains as they shattered his bones and proved to the Lich King that they could not be stopped.
